Eli Fish Brewing Company — Established in 1827, 1835, 1865, 1872, and 2018.
Located in Batavia, NY, the Eli Fish Brewing Company is named after 19th-century local brewery owner Eli Fish. Inspired by his resilience—rebuilding his malt house multiple times after devastating fires—the founders set out to help revitalize downtown Batavia and bring a brewery back to the area for the first time in over a century.
With a rich history and a carefully restored JJ Newberry store as its home,
the brewery was truly born with history in its DNA. We were proud to follow their lead.

Historically informed typography, archival photography, and a hand drawn logotype anchor the brand. A little bit of humor and word play here and there
