The Pierce Arrow Lofts are a new residential development transforming the former
Pierce-Arrow Motor Car Company factory in Buffalo, NY. Typography and colors take
their cues from the American Arts and Crafts Movement, which was prevalent during
the company’s history, and in Western New York at the time.

The modified letterforms integrating the arrow motif are a direct nod to the automaker’s
logo and, in particular, the unique Pierce Arrow archer hood ornament–the finishing
touch on each car that was built.
